The event will run from December 7-13, and we\u2019ll be featuring reviews of books with blind main characters as well as articles about blindness in young adult literature. We\u2019ll be posting them with the tag \u201cblindness week\u201d and using the hashtag #DiKLBlindnessWeek on Twitter.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019ve got reviews of Rachel DeWoskin\u2019s <em>Blind<\/em>, Marie Lu\u2019s <em>The Young Elites<\/em>, Marcus Sedgwick\u2019s <em>She is Not Invisible<\/em>, and much more planned. We\u2019re also going to feature articles about blindness cures in fiction and the accessibility of books for visually impaired\/blind readers.<\/p>\n<p>We encourage blind and visually impaired readers to Tweet at us or message us on Tumblr with your thoughts on blindness in YA\/MG lit, as we really want to make this a conversation.
