Last September, we put out a call for applications to join the Disability in Kidlit team. We received many promising applications, and we’re so thankful to everybody who showed an interest. It means so much that you’re so passionate about the site and disability representation.
We are delighted to announce that we have found our newest editor: please welcome Natasha Razi!
You may have read Natasha’s review of the first two books in the Mara Dyer trilogy last November. In addition to being an aspiring YA and adult fantasy author, Natasha is an environmental analyst who has lived in four continents. She has several years of editing experience and a particular interest in intersectional representation. She’s been working with us behind the scenes as an editor for five months now, and we’re thrilled to have her join the team permanently!
We also want to thank Jennifer Bohlman, whom you may know from their article on “Redefining Heroism,” also posted in November. They have been helping us on Twitter, Tumblr, and Goodreads for the past five months. Although they will no long be serving in this capacity, we are extremely grateful for their assistance and look forward to working with them as a contributor going forward.
